FAQ

  • The whole process takes about 12 weeks total. Once I receive your bouquet, I deconstruct it into the press, it dries in the press, then I remove it and put it all back together! Once the flowers are reconstructed I will create 2 mock up designs for you to choose from. Usually one vertical and one horizontal. With the option to move around anything you’d like before it’s finalized! Once approved, I will glue it all down into it’s final destination - your custom solid wood frame!

  • It’s always good to book in as soon as possible to ensure a spot, but I know a lot of the wedding/event planning can be busy. I always try to be as accommodating as I can, therefore I do take on last minute bookings. Send me an email or an Instagram DM to inquire! It’s never too late!

  • Yes, a $100 non-refundable deposit is required at the time of booking to hold your spot. This is deducted from the balance of the frame(s) at pick up.

  • Fresher the better! Flowers press the best when they are fresh, so I typically say 1-3 days after your event is when I would need to work with the flowers.

  • I am located in Sugarbush, just 5 minutes up the road from Horseshoe Valley Resort! Drop off and pick up for bouquets and frames are at my home here, unless otherwise arranged!

  • Yes, the full bouquet or arrangement is required. In order for me to press the best petals and to ensure I have enough to work with I need as many blooms as you can give me. Also, I like to create the finished design looking as much like the fresh bouquet, so having all parts of it is key!

In some cases when a bouquet has wilted or damage to the petals have occurred, it is best to have some back up flowers to work with.

  • I will return your vases, bouquet charms, and your air dried mini bouquet that I wrap with your ribbon from the original fresh bouquet. This mini bouquet is made up of any left over or too damaged to press stems and air dried for you as a complimentary keepsake.

  • When flowers are pressed/dried they naturally change colours in some way. Reds go darker, whites go more yellow/beige, some pinks and peach colours go lighter. I can help colour correct some of these flowers if they are an obvious part of your bouquet and it’s necessary to captivate the look of the bouquet from when it was fresh. I personally love the look of a naturally pressed flower, but I understand sometimes losing colour from fresh can be a big deal!

Some flowers tend to slowly fade or lose their colour slightly over time. Try to keep your frame out of direct sunlight to minimize this.

  • Yes, I offer 5” x 7” boutonnière/corsage frames and 8” x 10” and 11” x 14” add-on frames. These frames can be added on with the purchase of a 11” x 14” or 16” x 20” frames and make perfect gifts for loved ones!
